FAQs

How do I change the text on my Promotion?

1. Click on Marketing in the left-hand side menu.
2. Select Promotion Rules
3. Click on the binoculars icon
4. Enter the code of the promotion in the Code field
5. Click on Search
6. Click into the Promotion (check if it is the latest or Published version)
7. Edit the Name and/or Description fields accordingly. Note: Please click on the 🌍 icon to amend the (ZH) Name and/or Description as well.
8. Click Save.
9. Click on the paper aeroplane icon to publish. Ensure that the status changes from Unpublished to Published.

How do I include the banner for my Promotion?

Note: Please ensure that the dimensions are 840 by 560px and in JPEG/JPG format.
1. Click on Marketing in the left-hand side menu.
2. Select Promotion Rules
3. Click on the binoculars icon
4. Enter the code of the promotion in the Code field
5. Click on Search
6. Click into the Promotion (check if it is the latest or Published version)
7. Click into Media and select + Create new Catalog Unaware
8. Provide a name for the image in the Identifier field and click on NEXT
9. Upload the banner and click on FINISH
10. Click Save.
11. Click on the paper aeroplane icon to publish. Ensure that the status changes from Unpublished to Published.

How to publish a promotion?

Note: Please check the status of the promotion before proceeding.
1. Click on Marketing in the left-hand side menu.
2. Select Promotion Rules
3. Click on the binoculars icon
4. Enter the code of the promotion in the Code field
5. Click on Search
6. Click into the Promotion (check if it is the latest version)
7. Click on the paper aeroplane icon to publish. The status should change to Published.

If unable to publish the promotion, please check the following:
– Schedule: Start Date/Time and End Date/Time
– Are there any fields that are missing inputs in the Conditions and Actions settings?
If the issue persists, please raise a service request through the Merchant Service Desk via the Okta SSO page.

Why is my GWP promotion showing as “Fully Redeemed” despite available stock?

This issue may occur when customers have added items to their cart but have not completed checkout.
Please raise a service request through the Merchant Service Desk via the Okta SSO page and our Tech team will run a cron job to resolve it.

How to clone a promotion?

The steps below will guide you on how to quickly duplicate and modify a setup instead of creating one from scratch.
1. Click on Marketing in the left-hand side menu.
2. Select Promotion Rules
3. Click on the binoculars icon
4. Enter the code of the promotion that you wish to duplicate in the Code field
5. Click on Search
6. Click into the Promotion (check if it is the latest or Published version)
7. Click on the copy icon to duplicate the promotion. The status should change to Published.
8. Rename the Code for the new promotion that you are creating. It must be different from the promotion that you are cloning.
9. Edit the Name, Description and (optional) Start Date/Time and End Date/Time.
10. Click Save.
11. Click on the paper aeroplane icon to publish. Ensure that the status changes from Unpublished to Published.
