How to identify "Out of Stock" (OOS) products
Any product with a stock quantity of “0” or less than or equal to the Out Of Stock Quantity will display a red indicator. This helps you quickly identify when an item is out of stock (OOS). Additionally, this indicator will show if your stock has been OOS for an extended period, causing the product to be automatically deactivated and hidden from the storefront until it’s restocked.
Red Indicator for Quantity
- Without Tooltip: The quantity will show in red if the SKU is Out of Stock (OOS) or has a stock quantity less than or equal to the Out Of Stock Quantity, before the SKU is live (i.e., it is not yet available for sale on the storefront).
- With Tooltip: When the SKU is live (i.e., the product is active and available for sale), the quantity will show in red if the SKU is OOS or has a stock quantity less than or equal to the Out Of Stock Quantity and if the “OOS Auto Deactivation” setting is enabled.
Tooltips displayed (on hover):
- For OOS SKUs ≥ 30 days: “This product is inactive as it has been out of stock for 30 days or more.”
- For OOS SKUs < 30 days: “This product will be deactivated if it remains out of stock for 30 days or more. Please restock now.”
