💡 This tutorial shows you how to use the Bulk Manage feature in TREX to bulk edit or update multiple existing product listings at once.

⚠️ Note: Some fields cannot be changed after a product is created, including Category, Variant Group Code (VGC), Offer SKU, and Customer Type. To update these fields, you must delete and recreate the product.

If you want to create multiple new products instead, please refer to the Bulk Product Creation guide.

Steps to update multiple products


1. Products

3. Select the product that you would like to edit by clicking into the checkbox.
4. Click on Bulk Manage
In this example, the Price & Stock Attributes were selected. Therefore, the template will only display the Price & Stock attributes for the product e.g., Price, Stock Quantity, etc.

In this example, the Category Specific Attributes were selected. Therefore, the template will only display the Category Specific attributes for the product e.g., Mobile Storage Capacity, Mobile Device Colour, etc.

In this example, the General Attributes were selected. Therefore, the template will only display the General Attributes for the product e.g., Product Name, Images, Description, Meta Keywords. etc.

5. Select the attributes that you would like to edit
6. Export File

7. Edit the field/attribute that requires editing and save the changes in the file. In TREX, click on the Upload Excel File tab.
8. Drop the file in the Uploaded Templates section.
9. Click on Upload New Template.

12. Select Bulk Upload of Multiple Products
13. Check on the Status section.
If there is a green tick, the file has been successfully uploaded.
If there is an exclamation mark, the file has errors.
14. If there are errors, please click on Download Error Report.

15. In the error report, scroll to the right. Refer to the error message under the Failed Reason column. In this example, the delivery type has been left empty for this product.
16. In the uploaded file, fix the error for the affect field/column. In this example, the delivery type will need a selection.
17. Proceed to re-upload the file and repeat the steps 10 onwards.
