Configure GST Flags

This tutorial explains how to configure the GST absorption setting for products. Please ensure that all prices such as Retail Price, Discount Price and Staff Discount Price are before GST.

If GST Absorption – Travellers and GST Absorption – Non-Travellers are set to On (absorbed), GST will not be added at checkout.
If these settings are Off (not absorbed), GST will be calculated and added at checkout.

1. Products ➡️ My Products
2. Click on the Product Name ➡️ Click on the pen icon to edit
3. Under the Unique Attributes, scroll down to the GST Absorption – Travellers and GST Absorption – Non-Travellers fields and select accordingly.
4. Once done, scroll to the end and click on Save & Proceed to Category Attributes ➡️ Submit.

2. Select products to update. Click on Generate export file ➡️ Download last generated export file
3. Under the GST Absorption – Travellers and GST Absorption – Non-Travellers field ➡️ select False if not absorbing GST
4. Products ➡️ Add New Products ➡️ Bulk Upload of Multiple Products
5. Scroll down to Uploaded Templates section, upload the file or drop it within the box. Click on Upload New Template 💡 Please check the File Import section below to see the upload status!
6. Check the Error section, under Status. If there is an error, please download the error report to see what the error was. Make the necessary edits and try to re-import the file.
